AConfirmed scabies meets at least one of the following criteria:
A1mites, eggs or faeces on light microscopy of skin samples
A2mites, eggs or faeces visualised on an individual using a high-powered imaging device
A3mite visualised on an individual using dermoscopy
BClinical scabies meets at least one of the following criteria:
B1scabies burrows
B2typical lesions affecting male genitalia
B3typical lesions in a typical distribution and two history features
CSuspected scabies meets one of the following criteria:
C1typical lesions in a typical distribution and one history feature
C2atypical lesions or atypical distribution and two history features
